A.M. Best "Excellent" Rating Continues

A.M. Best, which continues to rate the Exchange's financial condition and operating performance as "Excellent", said the following in their most recent rating:

"This rating reflects National Fire & Indemnity Exchange's (NIE) low underwriting leverage, generally favorable operating performance, and leadership position in the specialty niche fabricare industry...."

"The company enjoys a distinct advantage of employing an in-house sales force that is thoroughly versed in most aspects of the fabricare industry. This enables the company to provide direct assistance to their clients in assessing insurance coverage needs and minimizing potential losses. The result is the company's excellent reputation among fabricare business owners and a strong referral base ... . "

"NIE continues to maintain favorable underwriting leverage ratios that compare favorably to industry norms...."
